Hosting and server requests

This site is hosted by an external provider in Germany and delivered as static files over HTTPS by an Apache web server. When you request a page, the server receives technical connection details such as your IP address, requested path, referrer and browser information, when provided by your browser, together with the request time. These details are used to deliver the requested page and maintain service security. The hosting provider may record requests in server logs and processes data only as needed to provide the hosting service and in accordance with our instructions. A data-processing agreement is in place with the provider.

Theme preference

When you select a theme and browser storage is available, this site saves your choice (light or dark) in your browser's local storage under the theme key. The site reads this value on later visits to restore your choice. The preference stays in your browser and is not sent to our web server. It has no expiry set by this site and remains until you clear the browser's stored data or the browser removes it. If storage is unavailable, the site uses your system preference and the theme toggle still works, but your choice cannot be saved.

Contact by email

The contact links on this site open an email addressed to contact@oardicraft.com. The site does not submit messages through a web form. If you send us an email, we process the sender details and message content to receive and respond to your request. The message is transmitted through the email services used by you and by us.
